Will it fit my vehicle?
If your back seat is a bench, almost certainly. Large fits sedans, 4-door coupes, SUVs, crossovers, hatchbacks, minivans, vans, station wagons and Jeeps. Extra-Large is made for extended cab, crew cab and full-size pickups, light to heavy duty. For captain's chairs or bucket seats, the Single Seat Cover is the better match.
How big a dog can it handle?
The hard bottom is rated to support up to 250 pounds. Customers ride with 100 lb shepherds and Rottweilers, and with packs of smaller dogs side by side.
How do I install it?
Clip the straps around the front and rear headrests, tuck the seat anchors into the seat crease, and zip the side flaps. It installs in under a minute.
How do I clean it?
Hose it off, wipe it down with a cloth, shake it out, or machine wash it, then let it air dry.
Can I still reach the seat belts?
Yes. Seat belt openings give you access to the buckles, and the free safety belt clips to your dog's body harness to help limit roaming. Use it with a properly fitted body harness, not a collar.
How fast does it ship?
Most U.S. orders arrive in 3 to 8 business days after processing, and tracking is sent when your gear ships. Shipping is free on this cover.
Why not just buy a cheaper hammock?
If your dog rides twice a year on dry pavement, a cheap hammock may be enough. If they ride weekly, shed, get muddy, or you drive a truck or SUV with a real footwell gap, a fabric sling can sag and wear out fast. The hard bottom is made for the dog who rides every week.
Do I need the bed or just the cover?
Choose the cover if protecting the car is the whole job. Choose Cover + Bed if your dog rides often, naps in the back row, or needs a softer layer on top of the hard bottom.
Can two dogs ride on it?
Yes. It is one flat platform from door to door, rated to support up to 250 pounds in total. Customers ride with two and three dogs side by side. One safety belt is included, so add an extra belt for a second dog.
Is the safety belt crash-rated?
No. The included belt helps limit roaming when it is clipped to a properly fitted body harness. Do not clip it to a collar. It is not crash-rated and does not replace crash-tested restraint gear.
