Clip the leash to the front ring. It helps redirect forward pulling back toward your side, and the chest strap spreads leash pressure across the chest instead of the neck.
| What it is about | On a collar or a generic harness | On this harness |
|---|---|---|
| At the end of the leash | They hit the end of the leash and your arm takes it. | Clip the front ring. It helps redirect forward pulling momentum back toward your side. |
| On the neck | A collar puts the pressure on the neck. | The chest strap spreads leash pressure across the chest instead. |
| Bulk | A full vest is more harness than some dogs need. | This one is straps, not panels: padded where it touches, with a breathable mesh lining. |
| Hardware | Generic harnesses use plastic buckles and single stitching. | A metal quick-release buckle, triple stitching and reinforced V-rings. |

Start with the harness, then tick what you want with it: the double-handle bungee leash, the metal-buckle tactical collar, the 12-patch pack, a waste bag pouch with 10 rolls of bags, or the car safety belt. The belt clips to the harness and a seat belt slot to help limit roaming on everyday rides. Custom name patches are printed as a pair with your dog's name and your phone number, and sit on the hook and loop panel of the chest strap.
Durable 1050D nylon, box-stitched joints, a high-strength metal quick-release buckle and strong metal leash rings front and back. The straps are padded, lined with breathable mesh and finished with reflective stitching.

Why it works
On a collar, leash pressure concentrates at the neck. A harness spreads it across the chest, and the front clip helps redirect forward pulling momentum back toward your side.
Front clip: helps redirect pulling back toward your side, with pressure spread across the chest.
“My 70 # dog likes to pull and walk me, but this harness has changed how much he can pull.” Margaret R., verified buyer

The front clip is a no-pull design. When your dog pulls forward, a leash clipped to the front helps redirect that momentum back toward your side, which makes it useful for everyday training.
It is a strap harness instead of a full vest, with one metal buckle instead of four, so there is less of it on the dog. It keeps the front and back leash rings, the top handle and the 1050D nylon. The Tactical harness adds side panels for patches and pouches and comes in sizes up to 170+ lb.
Start with weight: Small 25 to 40 lb, Medium 40 to 55 lb, Large 55 to 80 lb, Extra-Large 80 to 100 lb. Then measure the midsection, around the body just behind the front legs, and check it against the size guide. If your dog is near the top of a size, go one up. Size exchanges are free.

Yes. The chest strap has a hook and loop panel for a name patch. You can add custom name patches (a printed pair with your dog's name and your phone number) right here before you add to cart.
