Never used a harness before and didn’t want to use a prong collar so young, so I opted for harness. She’s my seventh German Shepherd so it’s not my first rodeo, but she is my first GS that is so headstrong and I felt the harness was the way to go…it’s working out beautifully.
Walks have always been unpleasant as our boy Charlie pulled and pulled a lot. Being a 100+ pound dog made walks extremely difficult. I wish dog trainers would talk more about this style harness. Not one trainer ever mentioned this style harness to us, but saw an add for no pull harness but they had plastic buckles and thought those would break. Did some more searching and found Team K9 with the metal buckles. Right away first walk night and day difference. Now is the third day of walking him with the Team K9 harness and he’s almost walking right next to me the entire walk. Even seems that his confidence has gone up and you can tell he enjoys the walks much more now not just use humans walking him. Thank you greatly for this amazing product.
After wearing her other harness for 6 years since I rescued her, I finally decided she deserved a new harness. So easy to put on than her other. And I just wanted to also show you my other rescue dog wearing your other style of harness. When I adopted him 2 years ago, in the course of a week, he chewed thru 6 of the inexpensive harness’s. I do a side-walk with Maddie, & me on the bicycle. She needs exercise & I am disabled. Her older harness she could back her way out of & then would be free to take off onto the street. Has happened several times. On her new harness...she got scared & stopped while I was still moving forward...but was not able to back out of it by herself. That was a really good thing!
Easy to tie - comfortably easy on the dog once he got use to it, he is more responsive to commands and when he swims he is very free - excellent product

I think thr horizontal chest strap could be slightly longer, but I love the metal buckle, which is MUCH easier to operate than the typical plastic buckle found on most harnesses!

Ordered a medium size like the tactical harness we already had from K9 but it was a bit too tight. Sent a message and the response was quickly addressed. They sent me a replacement in Large and it fits perfectly. The products have been great as well as the customer service.
Mica is my service dog and wears a service harness with a handle and pull strap. However, we also do scent work and compete. I bought this harness because I knew I could grab the handle if I needed it. She competed in a level 3 competition last weekend in New Hampshire. It was in a huge stadium and several times we had to do stairs or steep inclines up and down. I was able to hold the handle to help me get down or up these and she knows what to do. Then I work her with a leash on. It worked perfectly and she also got her title!! which is achieving 100% of hides found in all 6 searches. Nice comments from both judges. She was a happy girl and I am so glad with the help of this harness we can still do this. Also the customer service with the exchange of the harness was great!!! I enjoy all the products I have purchased.
Harness is high quality with thick comfortable straps and an easy to use metal buckle. The buckle is particularly good for people with arthritis or dexterity issues. Much easier to use that plastic ones. I love the simplicity of the design because I was looking for something without a bunch of accessories and pockets. Great product!

I really like this harness, it's less bulky and cooler for my dog to wear when it hot outside. I still have the same control when walking him with the front clip and he can't pull me using the front clip. Great product! Thanks
Good, solid, strong product that i would have no problem purchasing again.
So far so good. I love the metal hardware and simple one snap closure. I have a rescue who's reactive to other dogs and want to get away from the restraining and redirecting with the neck. I'd like the front chest strap to have some adjustment, as the strap around the body sits pretty close behind the shoulder. It seems to be about just right, and there doesn't seem to be any chafing, but other ownerns may need more adjustability for a good fit.
This is a very nice harness and seems well made. My dog Mica is my service dog so all her working and exercise walking harnesses have a Handle and a pull strap. I also do scent work with her and occasionally compete in Nose work. I decided this harness could work for that because it has a handle. Sometimes when we have practiced or been in a trial I have needed to grab a handle for my stability but do not want to use a service harness, This one is light weight so even if I work her on her flat collar I still will have the handle if I need it, The harness runs a little small she is normally a medium and I measured her at 29" where the harness goes around her. I had it adjusted as long as it would go so I decided to exchange for a large. I liked the pink one but decided to go with black since I need to return the other one
I love the new harness for Jethro. Great for the summer. I use it with the seatbelt when he rides on his hard bottom seat cover all ordered from Team k9. Orders are easy and received fast.
My 70 # dog likes to pull and walk me, but this harness has changed how much he can pull. I like the sturdiness of the harness and its material. So far so good!
